Bird Brand Paint & Varnish Remover 500ml

Bird Brand Paint & Varnish Stripper is ideal the removal of paints, polyurethane varnish and emulsion from wood and metal. It is often safer and more efficient than scraping and sanding as it will reduce the amount of potentially dangerous dust created.

500ml will cover approximately 2-4 square meters depending on coating and thickness.

Recommended stripping times:
Varnish, shellacs, French polish: 15-30 minutes. 
Lacquers, polyurethane: 30-45 minutes. 2-3 applications may be required.
Paint: 1 hour and scrape off. Repeat process if required.

For more than 5-6 coats of paint: Apply a thick and even coat and leave overnight covered with plastic film to prevent the stripper from drying out.  D

Do not leave longer than the recommended time on veneered surfaces.
