Owatrol Antislip Non-Slip Protection for All Wood Species - Clear

Owatrol's Antislip Wood Protection, commonly known as Antigliss, is a potent anti-slip coating for outside wood surfaces that comprises microbeads made of polypropylene wax that are 100 microns in size. In locations where there are slip and skid dangers, it provides a surface that is skid-resistant for wheeled traffic as well as an anti-slip surface for pedestrian traffic.

Antislip is a prepared product that is applied to the wood as it is, in contrast to normal products that involve sprinkling grit into a wet finish. It creates a surface with a more uniform texture, penetrates the wood, and forms a link with the fibres to create a satin finish with a finely textured, flexible, and long-lasting anti-slip surface.

Along with being useful, Antislip also offers a decorative finish (available in Clear colour) and offers strong UV and weather protection with long-lasting functionality. It can be applied to all types of wood, both fresh and weathered, including softwoods and hardwoods (both exotic and broadleaved), new and weathered woods, planed and rough sawn wood, untreated & pressure treated. It also aids in slowing down the greying process when wood is exposed to UV radiation. There is no need for sanding or stripping, making application and upkeep simple.
